A 31-year-old man named, Michael David, who supposedly stabbed his wife, Onyinyechi Dennis, to death on Friday showed up before an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrate Court, Lagos. The denounced, who lives in Ojoku around Olodi-Apapa, is confronting a charge of homicide. The Prosecutor, Insp. Emmanuel Ajayi, told the court that the offense was submitted on April 7, at No. 24, Ojoku St., Olodi Apapa in Lagos.
Ajayi charged that the blamed wounded Dennis, his wife, to death with a kitchen cut over affirmations of unfaithfulness. "David stood up to the expired over claims that she was undermining him, a battle followed driving him to wound his wife to death," he said. Ajayi noticed that the offense negated Section 221 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.
The area recommends a capital punishment for guilty parties. The supplication of the blamed was not taken by the court. The Chief Magistrate, Mr O.O. Olatunji requested that the charged be remanded at the Ikoyi Prisons pending the receipt of legitimate exhortation from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPPs). The case was deferred till July 17.
