Female Teacher commits suicide in St. Elizabeth Over Boy Student

A female teacher is believed to have committed suicide at her home in Malvern St. Elizabeth this morning.

Dead is 38-year-old Diane Vassell.

Vassell was a Mathematics and Social Studies teacher at the St. Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS).

Reports are that about 7:15 a.m., Mrs. Vassell’s husband discovered her body hanging by a piece of rope, at the back of their house.
